All the genes in a given genome are not used simultaneously at any given time in vivo, and organisms adapt to various environments by the process of re-selecting concerned populations of genes although the genomic information remains the same. Arch genet provides visual data to contribute to a better understanding of gene networks as applicable to environmental adaptation. |
